WP Plugin: Operations Guide
Welcome to your AI command center. Once the Conturalis plugin is installed and authorized, a new Conturalis menu appears in your WordPress sidebar. This guide walks you through the physical layout of the dashboard and how to operate your AI ecosystem.
1. Start (Your Dashboard)
When you first click "Conturalis," you land on the Start tab.
- The Hub: This screen acts as your operational overview. It greets you and provides quick-access cards to jump directly into your most used modules (Web Agents, Smart Data, Theme).
- Quick Support: A direct button to open the "Conturalis Chat Agent" is available here if you ever need immediate platform assistance.
To navigate here, click Conturalis in the left WordPress sidebar to land on the Start tab of the internal top pill-menu. Click the blue Open buttons on the bottom right of the Web Agents, Theme, or Smart Data cards to jump directly into those modules. Click the purple ✨ Conturalis Chat Agent button in the center of the screen to open the assistant.
2. Web Agents (Your AI Workforce)
The Web Agents tab is where you deploy and manage your automated assistants. It is divided into three dedicated sub-modules:
A. Sales Agent
Your autonomous B2B prospect generator and outreach strategist.
- Generate: Define your target audience (e.g., "Web developers in Antwerp") and the amount of leads you want. The AI will autonomously search the web and compile a list.
The Cloud translates your query, executes live web searches, discovers candidate domains, and automatically filters out irrelevant entities (like cities or government domains) in the background.
Click the + Start New Configuration button. Fill in your Location Focus, Amount (max 100), and Target Audience. Check the Automation Pipeline box, then click the purple ✨ Start Prospecting button to dispatch the cloud worker.
- Prospects: This is your CRM view. Here you can:
- Review the generated leads, their contact information (Phone, Email, LinkedIn), and AI-assigned "Value" (1 to 5 stars).
- Expand any prospect to read the AI's research summary and exact reasoning for why they match your criteria.
- Access One-Click Outreach: The AI automatically drafts personalized LinkedIn DMs, cold emails, and phone call scripts for the specific contacts found at that company.
- Change the sales status (Follow Up, Converted, Lost) or schedule a calendar appointment.
This 1 to 5-star rating is not manually set by you. The Cloud mathematically scores the lead based on data density (awarding points if it successfully extracted emails, tech stacks, >10 reviews, LinkedIn profiles, and phone numbers).
The Cloud autonomously crawls the prospect's website, identifies their core activities, and generates the "Why this Match?" reasoning, a deep "AI Research Summary" (identifying SEO gaps or opportunities), and an "AI Strategy" detailing how to approach the specific decision-maker.
Use the top dropdowns (Step, Sector, Sales Status) to filter leads. Change a lead's status using the dropdown in the Status column. Select multiple prospects via the checkboxes on the left, then click the purple ✨ Run Sales Flow button at the bottom left to trigger the deep AI enrichment, scraping, and drafting process.
- History: Audit your previous searches and see exactly what search terms yielded which results.
- Config: Enter your instructions and outreach communication overwrites in the provided textareas and click Save Changes. If a cloud job hangs, scroll to the yellow
Process Managementbox and click Force Stop Background Processes.
B. Content Agent
Your autonomous writer and page builder.
- Generate: See all your active content configurations (e.g., "Weekly Blog Posts"). Enter the amount you want to generate, and click Generate Selected. A live execution log at the bottom of the screen will show you exactly what the AI is thinking and building in real-time.
Click the + Start new configuration... dropdown to select your post type. In the Active Configurations table below, use the number input to specify the amount. Click the ⚙️ ADVANCED or ✨ AUTO toggle, then click the purple ✨ Generate Selected button at the bottom right.
- Automation: Put your content on autopilot. Set schedules (e.g., "Generate 5 posts every Monday at 09:00"), auto-publish settings, and email reports.
- Config: Build the rules for the AI using two distinct modes:
- Auto Mode: A streamlined, hands-off setup tailored to your site. The Cloud automatically provisions an unbounded "Smart Canvas" and grants the AI full autonomy to pull from your global components and categorize the content as it sees fit.
- Advanced Mode: You become the layout architect. You construct a strict Page Skeleton by stacking specific Master Components and Presets. Drop in a "Smart Canvas" (AI Zone) to explicitly define how many components the AI is allowed to spawn. You can also map generated data directly into your Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
In Advanced Mode, select your Target Editor via the radio buttons. Click + Add Section under Structure & Layout to build the wireframe. If you add a "Smart Canvas", set the limit for maximum allowed components. Click the Load ACF Groups button to optionally map custom fields, then click Save Changes. For global tone, define your Default Language and Tone of Voice, then click the Save & Sync button.
C. Chat Agent
Your customer-facing website assistant.
- Display: Configure exactly how the chat widget looks. Set the target page, maximum width, and floating bubble options. You can also customize the font and bubble color to match your brand.
Check the Show floating chat bubble... box to enable it globally. Use the dropdowns to configure the Bubble Style, Bubble / Button Color, and fonts. Click the Save Settings button in the top right.
- Link Generator: Create "Call to Action" links. If a user clicks a generated link on your site, the chat window opens and automatically sends a pre-defined question (e.g., "What are your enterprise rates?") on their behalf.
Type a message into the Prompt / Question input. Click the Copy button next to the generated URL to use it.
- Config: Set the agent's Welcome Text and define its core personality, tone of voice, and strict rules regarding what it is not allowed to say.
The Cloud synchronizes this persona and fuses it with the Smart Data tags you authorize, allowing the bot to natively render complex UI components (Smart Views) in the chat window based on the conversational context.
Toggle the Agent Active switch in the top right. Fill out the Welcome Text, Identity, and Rules textareas. In the right-hand sidebar, click the blue Go to Smart Data ➔ button to manage knowledge. Click Save Configuration at the bottom right.
3. Smart Data (Training Your AI)
The Smart Data tab is where you build your private knowledge base so the AI knows your business facts.
- Train Your AI (Overview): See the synchronization status of all your connected data sources at a glance, and manually trigger a "Sync Now" if you recently updated your site.
Use the Frequency dropdown (Weekly, Daily, Manual, Hourly) to set sync schedules. Click the purple ✨ Sync now button on any row to force an immediate update. Click the > Manage button to enter that specific dataset's configuration.
- Uploads: Upload external files (PDF, DOCX, TXT, CSV, JSON, XML (Max 50MB)) and tag them.
- WordPress: Map your existing WordPress Pages, Posts, and Custom Post Types so the AI can read them.
- Media: Map your existing WordPress media library.
- Web Crawls: Enter external URLs for the AI to scrape and learn from.
4. Smart Views (Your Universal UI)
The Smart Views tab manages the visual building blocks your AI uses to design pages.
- Smart Components: View the available visual blocks (e.g., Hero Banners, Pricing Tables). Manage synchronization via a dual-preset system:
- Content Presets: Save the actual data (text, images, links) inside a component. Ideal for reusable information like a global "Partner Call-to-Action" block. Update the text here once, and it instantly syncs across every page on your site.
- Style Presets: Save the visual configuration (colors, spacing, layouts) independently of the content. You can attach a Default Style Preset to a Content Preset, ensuring that your specific content always renders with the exact same design.
- Component Locks: Lock specific attributes within a preset to maintain absolute brand consistency, preventing human editors and AI Agents from overriding them.
When editing a component inside the native WordPress editor (Gutenberg), look at the right-hand sidebar under AI Preset Settings. Click the Active Mode toggle to switch between CONTENT PRESET and STYLE PRESET. Use the Attach Default Style Preset dropdown to bind a locked design to your content. Fill in the Recommendation and AI DESCRIPTION text fields to instruct the AI.
- Shortcodes: Manage legacy shortcodes for environments that do not support modern blocks.
- Agent Usage Permissions: Explicitly allow or deny your AI agents the ability to utilize your Smart Components and Shortcodes during their operations. Navigate to the Web Agents tab, select a specific agent's Config sub-tab, and use the provided toggles to grant or revoke access.
5. Smart Tags (The Universal Glue)
Smart Tags act as the foundational organizational layer across your entire Conturalis ecosystem. They apply universally to both your Smart Data and your Smart Views. Tagging ensures the AI instantly understands context, permissions, and visual relevance.
- Tag Categories:
- Agent Tags (
chat, content, sales): Crucial for access control. Without a specific agent tag, an AI worker won't have access to the data or component. - Data Tags (
legal, prices, products, brandguide, company files, keywords): Categorizes the intent of your Smart Data. - View Tags (
section, element, full page, core): Instructs the AI on how and where to use a Smart Component in a page layout. - Integration Tags (
woo): Defines eCommerce or third-party scopes.
- Agent Tags (
- Component Tagging: Applying tags to your Smart Components ensures the AI knows exactly when to inject this specific UI block. (Note: Presets themselves cannot be tagged; tags belong strictly to the parent component).
- Managing Tags (Global & UI Location): Because tagging is a universal system, the interface and actions are identical whether you are tagging Uploads, Media, WordPress content, or Smart Components. Navigate to the respective sub-tab (e.g., Smart Data > Media). Every list view features a dedicated, color-coded "Smart Tags" column. Click any item to modify its tags, or use the bulk-action dropdowns at the top of the list to instantly apply or remove tags across multiple items.
6. Theme & Settings
- Theme: Manage your global design system. Under the Config sub-tab, define your brand's Primary, Secondary, and Accent colors, as well as your typography scales. The Preview tab gives you a live visualizer of how your headings, buttons, and spacing will look across the site.
Navigate via the Config, Preview, and Install sub-tabs. Under Config, enter HEX codes for your colors and use dropdowns to set Typography stacks. Click Save Configuration (top right). Under Install, click Theme Details on the Conturalis FSE Theme card to activate it.
- Cloud > License: Connect or disconnect your site from the Conturalis Cloud using your Activation Key. View your live connection status and check which agents your current tier grants access to.
Ensure the Conturalis Cloud (Default) card is selected under System Mode. In the Connection Status box, click the orange 🔑 Use new Key button to input an activation license, or click ↻ Check Connection to verify status. Click Save Configuration (bottom right) or the red Disconnect Cloud text (bottom left) to sever access.
- Settings > Preferences: Toggle interface features, such as hiding the reCAPTCHA badge or choosing whether the Conturalis dashboard inherits your WordPress admin colors.
